Subject : Applying for a Yacht license and renewal of license sailing in the area of Myeik archipelago region.

1. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, the Directorate of Hotels & Tourism has issued the tourist transport license to the local and foreign sailing Yacht companies . In this regard ,all foreign sailing Yacht companies shall have to pay the license fee both new or renewal license fee and promotion fund in US Dollar only.
2. While applying for the renewal of license or submitting monthly report to the Departments concerned , statements regarding annual performance of each sailing Yacht which include amounts of tour trips passengers operated within licensed period and income with sale contracts shall be attached with the report.
3. For your information , license fee, Royalty fee and promotion fund will be increased in 2007-2008 tour season which will effect on the date of October 1st 2007 are stated as follows:

Subject : For the renewal and cancellation of yacht Licenses

1. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism has issued the tourist transport licensee to local and foreign sailing Yacht Companies. We have already issued licenses to (32) Yacht Companies to sail around the area of Myeik Archipelago, up to the date of 31st August 2008.

2. However, we have noticed that (6) yacht companies has failed to renew their licenses although the reminder had been sent to them. These (6) yacht companies are invalid for over one year. Therefore, we would tike to inform you that these attached 6 yacht companies’ Licenses have been cancelled.

3. And then we also like to remind other yacht Companies which will be expired their Licenses in 2008 . These Licenses must be renewed before the end of December. Please see the below Lists.
