Formerly Known as Tourist Burma was renamed as Myanmar Travels & Tours (MTT) under Myanmar Hotels & Tourism Services (MHTS) in 1998.

MTT is the foremost travel agent as well as tour operator and it is still rendering services for ticketing, hotel reservation, guide services and special events, etc;

MTT arranges ready made tours and tailor made tours. It also offers cultural tours, adventure tours, beach tours, memorial tours, cruise tours, caravan tours, golf tours, bike tours, trekking & hiking tours, scuba diving & yachting tours and special interest tours. The most famous special interest tours are mountain tours at Putao and marine tours at Kawthaung.

MTT has branch offices not only in major tourist destination like Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay, Taunggyi and Myeitkyina but also at border check points from China & Thailand like Muse, Bhamaw, Tachileik and Kawthaung.

Putao is the northernmost town of Myanmar where Mount Khakaborazi, the highest mountain of South East Asia is located . Many snow-capped mountains can be seen there. You can have trekking tours with reasonable prices and don't need to worry about transportation and accommodation costs of the guides since we've assigned two MTT guides there.

Kawthaung, Victoria point, is located at the southernmost lip of Myanmar . It is famous for its untouched marine life in Adman Sea. This area is truly breath taking and the diving is world-class.

There is MTT's information counter where well trained staff provide the best services to achieve customer's satisfaction at each and every branch office, apart from those, it also exists at Yangon and Mandalay International airports.

MTT also possess an extensive of A/C and Non A/C cars-Saloons. Mini –Buses and Deluxe Coaches to cater all transportation requirements for both local and foreign visitors. It is also available for rental service by monthly or yearly base.
MHTS has leased its hotels to both local and foreign investors . It has also formed a Joint- Venture with foreign partners for the renovation and management of four major hotels, the Strand, Dusit Inya Lake, Thamada Hotel and Mandalay Swan Hotel . Currently, MHTS owns 9 hotels existing in major tourist destination like Mandalay, Sittwe, Mrauk-Oo, Pyin Oo Lwin, Kyaing Tong , Bago and Chaungtha.

Since the hotels, Thiri Myaing (Candacraig), Nam Myaing (Craddock Court), Gandamar Myaing (Goxton) in Pyin Oo Lwin have been built last 1900's during the colonial days.

Visa

A valid passport with entry visa is required to all visitors at Myanmar Embassies and Consulate General Offices abroad. Tourist visa and business visa are allowed of 28 days. Visa on arrival can be obtained for the package tour travelers, organized by one of the travel agencies and tour operators with prior arrangement through Ministry of Hotel and Tourism.
Myanmar Travels & Tours can arrange visa on arrival within 10 working days for those who visit as our package tour or semi package tour.

Before applying on arrival visa, the clients have to consider on a choice of accommodation, transportation, domestic air lines or guide services of our package which are available with reasonable price.
